Rotherham is now a registered Autism Education Trust Training Hub
The Inclusion Support Service, along with the Educational Psychology Service and The Portage Service are now able to offer Rotherham schools this government approved, licenced and evidence-based training.
The AET programme focusses on autism as a difference, not a deficit. It puts the child and young person at the heart of the process. It is their voice that is heard through the training. Over 190,000 education staff have been trained across England by the AET programme since 2012.
Who is the training for?
For staff who may lead or train other staff in their settings, taking a leadership role with a responsibility for developing provision.
