Introduction to the Autism Progression framework training

22nd Jan 2019

Gain an overview of the autism progression framework which is available free from the AET website

Rotherham is now a registered Autism Education Trust Training Hub

The Inclusion Support Service, along with the Educational Psychology Service and The Portage Service are now able to offer Rotherham schools this government approved, licenced and evidence-based training.

The AET programme focusses on autism as a difference, not a deficit. It puts the child and young person at the heart of the process. It is their voice that is heard through the training. Over 190,000 education staff have been trained across England by the AET programme since 2012.

Who is the training for?

This session is suitable for practitioners working with school age pupils on the autism spectrum in both mainstream and specialist services. This may include:

  • Teachers/assistants
  • Sencos
  • Any practitioner needing to map the progress of pupils

Click the flyer for more information on the training given.
